I am looking forward to representing the local referee body, the TCIFA and the Turks and Caicos Islands to the best of my ability, both on and off the field. I will endeavor to make my mark on the international refereeing scene so other local referees can aspire to attain the same level or higher. I also hope this will be the beginning of greater things to come.” Ritchie went on to say, “I must thank my fellow referees, the local referees committee and the TCIFA for their continued support during my referee development, up to this point. That support has enabled me to reach this level, without which none of this would be possible.”
Ritchie is the second representative in the history of Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association to be selected to the FIFA International Referees List.
